From the Coach.....
Our First loss of the season,
We went down two goals in the 1st half, this was down to not being on our game, the whole team had a bad 1st half. We then regrouped and came out and scored two goals early in the second half and again blew several chances to take the lead. BH then came back with the help of some marginal calls from the ref, one leading to a free kick that Mason got his hands to but just couldn’t direct it over the bar.
At the end of the day the better team won and we will have to pick up our game if we want to win this comp.
We have a bye next week and this will mean 4 hard training sessions to sort out where we went wrong and to regroup for our next game.

From the Coach....
Another fantastic game! We were without our goalie, but Cameron and Lachlan stepped in and did a great job!
The team went out fighting in the first half! And we had them on the hop!!
Unfortunately in the second half 2 opposing goals slipped in the net!
Overall the Kids played great!
Heres to another fantastic, nail biting game this Saturday!

From the Coach:
Our first game of the Season after the Grading and we went out and played as a team, we must have had 20 chances in the game where we could have scored but we managed 4 so well done to all. Once the boys and girls find the net we should be scoring a lot more which is great.
Our Defence was the stand out today, not letting a single goal in including another penalty save by our Fantastic keeper Mason.
All of the Boys and Girls at the back did their part in keeping a clean sheet, a special mention for Blake and our player of the day Daniel.

Rnd 3 Sat 17th April 2010
Pacific Pines 1 v 0 Southport @ PAC1

From the Coach....
Our hardest game of the season so far!
Half way into the first half saw Cody deliver a perfect ball into the box from a corner and found James in perfect position to score, but Southport came back at us time and time again, one shot hitting the cross bar.
We also applied the pressure and did enough to keep them out of the game until the last two minutes of the game when a controversial hand ball decision gave Southport a Penalty from the spot! Mason our regular Keeper stood his ground and saved the strike!
We went on to win and remain top of the table.
A special mention to Mason Hagen, not just for saving one goal this week but for the effort you put in every game, it is great to have a dedicated Goal Keeper that wants to play in this position, well done and Keep it up.

From the Coach.....
Well, what can I say 8-0 and what a great game, the team passed the ball like they had been playing all year.
We went into the break with 3 goals up and then dominated the second half scoring another 5.
Blake and Lachlan dominated the Defence with Mason holding them out of goal.
Jarrod scored a hat-trick and played another solid game in Midfield with Cody and James.
Ieaun and Anton are playing well up front with Jacob, Alana, Nik and Mitch doing their Jobs on the wings.
Least we forget the hard work put in by the rest of the defenders with Nicole, Cam and Daniel all doing their bit.
