From the Coach....
Going into this match we were down some key players, however what a turnaround from the first time we played this team, of which the score was 7-0 to Pam Beach.
Every single player gave 110% we had one substitute so we had to time manage this by watching and communicating with all players to use this wisely and make it work for the team. The team responded well to this with each player indicating when they required a 10 min breather.
The first half of the match was all Pac Pines and we should have had a hatful of goals, however we had to satisfy ourselves with one then in the second half they scored two and we were all of a sudden chasing the game, but they guys kept their heads and the equaliser came. Both our goals were good goals and well deserved.
Well done to all 12 players.

Another strong performance from all players. We took a lead in the first half with a goal from Nick.
Second half saw the players pass well and build up plenty of goal scoring opportunities but they were saved by the goalie. However it was pleasing to see that the play was mostly in the oppositions half.
Unfortunately Nerang took their one and only chance and scored to level the score at 1-1.

Burleigh Heads 1 v 4 Pacific Pines
Fantastic 90 mins of football, with a 110% commitment from all 13 players and who all played as a team.
From kick off all players wanted to be involved and with some brilliant passing saw Jayden get the team’s first hat trick and a superbly stuck shot gave Rhys his goal.
The 2nd half saw our goalie make a credible save but got injured doing so, Brendan stood up to the challenge which proved worthwhile as he made at least two outstanding saves.
Well done to all 13 players.
